Here it is!

Yes, here is Lyle's latest creative idea....still in working stages.  It is a 3 tier birdfeeder.  It has SIX openings...3 on each side.
Can you imagine all the birds that will flock to THIS?
Great idea, Lyle!

A Very Happy Wednesday to you all!

Do you remember long, long ago when Wednesday was advertised as Prince Spaghetti day?  I do.

Well THAT was off the subject, now, wasn't it???

I guess that's what happens to me when I spend hours doing left brained work like keeping my inventory, writing order sheets and maintaining my website.  The website is all up to date now!  Yay!!!
Go see... www.chrysalisgodgourds.com

In a few minutes I will take a picture of Lyle's new idea and upload it here for you to see....still in the working stages.

Have a great day.......................................................
and enjoy your spaghetti. (smile)

Tuesday, Sept. 13

Hello, my friends and followers!
I have been doing some major work on our website... www.chrysalisgodgourds.com
Almost complete for the moment.

Lyle and I are delighted that we have been invited to display our Gourds at a Sales Event to benefit the Historical Society here in Surprise.  We will be at Vista de la Montana Retirement Residence on Saturday, Sept. 24th from 10-2.  Vista de la Montana is just off of Grand Ave. in Surprise.  Email me or call and I'll give you more info.
Thanks.

Oh, yes....Lyle has had a great idea (again!)...He has constructed a 3 tier birdfeeder out of a long tall gourd.  Pictures soon.

Happy Wednesday!
Hope you all had a good Labor Day Weekend.  Summer is over but you'd never know that here in Arizona...109 degrees I think.
So after walking the dogs and going to the gym I stayed inside with the AC and worked on some more gourds.
I'm enjoying using colored pencils on my gourds...I've always loved using Prismacolors and now it's fun to use them on gourds

more inspiration!

Do you see my hummingbird?  We see her
every morning.  I think it is my mother's spirit
saying "good morning."  She loved hummingbirds.
did you lose this barrette for your hair?  It's here!
Another beautiful walk....so much to see and be grateful for!

My Daily Inspirational Walks

Every morning I take my two Berners for a walk in the park.  It's great for all 3 of us...they love getting out for a walk and I love the time to look at the world around me as the sun rises.  The pictueres here are of Angel, her daughter Lady and Indy (the Golden Retriever who is no longer living).
This morning as Angel, Lady and I walked I looked at some beautiful flowers and brought a stem of them home...hmmmm....for a future Gourd?
We shall see.  At any rate, it is great to get out for an early morning walk...to look, listen, feel the world around me and to count my blessings.
Anybody else like to walk in the early morning?  Take your dogs? What do you see?
